My last server was at least over 5 years ago. I've joined the server with my girlfriend and a friend; we've had a nostalgic itch to play RO recently. We were choosing between different servers, but we're glad to have chosen Shining Moon! The game felt fresh, content coming faster than we can adjust, we can definitely say we made the right choice! The community is SUPER helpful. My only complaint right now is the lack of pvp, but that will come as we grow!So come join!

The most updated server which i ever played, Niflheim have a nice class balance with JRO and IRO Gears, while in Helheim we have a great KRO experience, not pay2win since cash shop consumables, gears and others can be obtained just by playing to get Moon Coins or playing in custom dungeons, economy pretty balanced. Pretty stable connection and we have some compensation if server crashs (rarely crash). And for least but not less important the GM is a such nice guy Lunar s2.

The server completely offers kRO-exclusive content with all the translations done, and items available. This results in the diversity of builds/classes in the server, and doesn't truly bore you trying to get all the items you need for your class. Also, the items/gears you will be aiming for all have easy accessibility regardless of what class you play. The competitive scene of the server is not that much yet, but that's given on a low-population server, so wait for it to grow. GJ on the server!

This is a great renewal server that dosen't scare away from actual kRO progression. Every item that kRO has is eventually included and P2W is swapped out in favor of custom content. Economy is booming due so many options as well as the sheer number of new options being introduced on a regular basis. The server never ever stagnates. The only downside is that PVP is basically non-existent on this server but that's more to do with the group of players not liking PVP.

Helheim: i have been on this server for only 3 months and yet have managed to go beyond anything i've done in any other private server , the grind is fair and the server respects if you have little time to play by allowing you to have 100x rates, and gives a bonus drop for those willing to take the 1x challenge, refining is also another great point here as Ores are fairly easy to farm or buy and the same can be said for blacksmith blessings, overall, a great server for PVE inthusiasts.

For starters, the game was good. Community is good except of course for those people who are "close" to the GM. My group got banned because we are "abusing" a said bug when we have used it only that one time and we did not know that it was a bug because many players are using it as well. And on that note, we are the only ones who got banned because someone "reported" us to the GM, but apparently, others who are also using that said "bug" doesn't get the ban hammer.

My friends were banned by Lunar for apparently exploiting some bugs that he knows of and doesn't fix. I personally got banned after I respectfully debated him. It's a shame he doesn't hold the same respect to his players. He stooped so low and resorted to name calling. I simply got banned for that. AVOID this server at all costs. Anyone who's not on his side aren't welcome apparently. There were also a lot of our questions left unanswered prior to that debacle. Issues about some instances.

The server is split into two realms. Niflheim offers a more custom RO experience while the more populated Helheim is kept close to the official kRO servers. The SMRO team is working hard on creatin qol features and customization. The foums and discord are well structured and active. Cash shop items are made very accessible especially through the addition of custom dungeons. I am more or less new to renewal RO but the community has helped me immensely and is very welcoming.

I've been playing in a lot of servers in the last few years, and never felt so close to a "official" experience. Frequent updates and episodes, a bunch of alternatives to get those Sweet gears, great party environment due to loot share mechanics. Nice comunity that supports New players (discord, mainly) with player from ALL around the globe (yes, it's a globe).

Just Nif: low population. No economy on this server, venders throw out random prices, things sold on market is selective & overpriced. No pvp at all. JRO item inclusion is selective for balancing but poorly integrated- rng loot box from a custom boss that spawns on global kill. Theres only 1 custom quest. Custom dailies are clunky. Custom costume & Soul system cheapens the server. wiki is outdated, staff is a bit unprofessional. the Exp option is nice. Wouldn't recommend "yet", server needs work
